About Us
In 2006, Paul Ruby’s life became a little more “interesting” after being diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson’s Disease. Facing the challenge of an uphill battle with this degenerative disease, Paul immediately knew he needed to make a difference.
The Paul Ruby Foundation for Parkinson’s Research started in 2007 and hasn’t looked back having raised more than $500,000 to help find a cure for this disease affecting more than 1.5 million in the US alone.
Focusing 100% on funding research, the Foundation has partnered with Illinois’ very own Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center at Northwestern University, a top national research center for this disease.
With your support, we can continue aggressively supporting research, building awareness throughout Illinois and find a cure.
